Assam University Admission for the session 2026 begins for UG courses. The last date to fill out the application form is 30 May 2026 at the official site. Its admission for all of its UG courses will have eligibility criteria that demand a 10+2 qualification in a related stream or subject of study with an average passing score. The mark sheet for the UG degree will be submitted when applying to any PG course provided by the University, and there must be average marks obtained by students in their last annual exams.

Assam University UG Admission

Assam University Admission has commenced for the 2026 academic session. 30 May 2026 is the last date to apply for Assam University UG Admission at www.aus.ac.in. All the students who have an intermediate passing certificate can apply for the course. Undergraduate programs like BPA, BSc, BALLB, & more are available for Assam University admission. The forms will be available online at the official web portal. The University will select the candidates based on an entrance examination and merit for several courses.

• BPA: Bachelor of Performing Arts is a UG degree with a time period of three years. The required eligibility criteria are a passing certificate of the 12th standard. Its entries will also be dependent on the score of CUET.
• BTech: To apply for the B-Tech program, a necessary qualification is 10+2, which must be obtained from a well-known and recognised educational institute. The passing criteria for this course require a 55% score, estimated on a minimum basis. Students for the B.Tech. The course will be entered through a valid score for the JEE Main exam.
• BALLB: This course is designed for those candidates who have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% from recognised boards and are looking for a Humanities and law course. This will be a good option. In the course, students will get to learn about Arbitration Law, Administrative Law, Competition Law, History, Economics, Political Science, and many other topics.
• BSc: 12th class is a must for admission to a Bachelor of Science degree course with a minimum 50 percent score from the recognised board. Assam University offers in-depth learning in each subject of the course.
• LLB: It’s a law degree that can be pursued after completing a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Admission has started for Assam University LLB Admission, and the last date is 30 May 2026.  Through online mode, students can submit their applications.

Assam University BEd Admission

Assam University B.Ed Admission will start. For the BEd course, the university selects candidates on the basis of merit and entrance exam scores. Every interested candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least a 50 percent score.

Assam University PG Admission 2026

Registration has started for all postgraduate courses at Assam University. The last date to apply is 30 May 2026, for Assam University PG Admission 2026. The Registration form is now open at @www.adm.tanuvas.ac.in. In this university, students have various courses that they can pursue based on their merit score and entrance exam. Students can enrol in courses like MSW, MVA, MBA, MSc, MCom, MA, etc. Admission to these courses will be taken through the entrance exam, CUET 2026. 

• MCom: Students have to complete a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institution with at least a 50 percent score. In this course, students will learn about Accounting, Management, Banking, Finance, and many other subjects. Through the entrance exam and merit score, students will get selected for Admission to the session 2026-26
• MSW: Master of Social Work is a PG degree for which a qualifying graduation is mandatory. Apart from the entrance exam score, one will first have to meet the basic requirement of having a BSW or another related UG degree. For general candidates, 50% score is required, and for reserved candidates, a 45% score is required.
• MVA: For this course, students also need to qualify for the annual examination of graduation with a score of 50% average and a 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates is also there. It would be taken into preference if the last study degree was BPA or its equivalent.
• MBA: Admission is now open for the MBA 2026 session at Assam University. Candidates applying for this program must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks for General and 55% for OBC, SC, and ST applicants. 

Assam University PhD. Admission

Assam University offers PhD programs in various specialisations such as physics, chemistry, Biology, Zoology, Hindi, Arabic, education, Geology, etc. Candidates who want to apply for Assam University PhD admission must fill out some important criteria for admission that are given below:

• To become eligible for Assam University Admission to the PhD degree course, an applicant must hold a master’s degree course from a recognised university with the required marks.
• At Assam University, reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) candidates have a 5% relaxation for admission in 2026
• The selection of candidates will be based on candidates’ scores in the last qualifying examination and entrance test (RET) conducted by the university & personal interviews.
• The duration of the PhD program is a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 -years.
• A candidate who scores a minimum of 50% in the entrance exam conducted by the university for further processing.
