JNU PhD Admission has begun for the session 2026. 15 May 2026* is the last date to submit the registration form for JNU admission to the MBA program at @www.jnu.ac.in.  A student application at JNU is accepted on the basis of merit as well, and an entrance examination is a must. Taking the entrance test is a prerequisite for being eligible. The completion of their basic requirement and clearing the test will confirm students’ academic selection to this University. 

• Students applying for any UG course will have to clear 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 50% from any recognised education board.
• Learners who want to apply for any PG course will have to submit their final semester mark sheet of the previous study program, along with the duly filled JNU admission form and paid fee challan.
• The final selection will be made for UG courses at JNU Admission 2026 through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2026). Registration has started for CUET UG 2026. Students can fill out the form online. 

JNU UG Admission 2026

JNU UG Admission 2026  Application form will be available on the website at @www.jnu.ac.in. For the Bachelor’s degree program at JNU, students have options of courses such as BA and BA (Hons). Apart from the basic courses, there are different language courses structured for the students. Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, French, Korean, Spanish, and many more. Students need to complete their intermediate studies, and they should have the basic knowledge about the language bachelor’s course they are selecting for admission. 

The most important is the CUET-UG entrance test that is compulsory to take admission to the UG program. • BA: Bachelor of Arts is one of the most common degree courses after the 12th. JNU offers a BA program in many different specialisations, like Arabic, German, French, etc. It is a UG-level program that takes a minimum of 3 years to complete. The students must have passed their 12th in any stream from the well-known board of education. 
• BBA: JNU offers a professional degree programme called Bachelor of Business Administration. The students must have a 12th board result with a minimum of 50% score from a recognised board of education in India.
• BTech: Bachelor of Technology course at JNU is available for admission to students who have the class 10+2 passing certificate. Final selection will be done through an entrance exam conducted at Jawaharlal Nehru University. 
• BSc: This is a 3 Year duration course which has six semesters. In order to apply for the BSc course, students have to pass the 12th class from a central or state board. University selection is done based on the entrance exam.

JNU BEd Admission 2026

Jawaharlal Nehru University offers a Bachelor of Education or BEd for a duration of 2 years. This educational program is available only for students who have graduated in any discipline with 45% marks. JNU conducts the BEd Entrance Test every year to provide seat allotment to students. There are limited seats for the BEd course at JNU.

Master’s Degree Program studies have courses such as MSc, MSc Integrated PhD, MA, and MBA. Under MA, there are various specialisations like ancient history and different languages. For the JNU MBA course, admission will be initiated shortly after declaring the CUET PG result. Candidates must apply before the closing date.

JNU PG admission intake requires the completion of a graduation degree in a relevant stream of study. For all the PG courses except MBA, the CUET-PG entrance completion is a must for the students; for the MBA course, the CAT entrance completion is a must.

• MCA: Master of Computer Applications is a PG-level degree programme that takes 2 years to complete. Students who want to make a career in the information technology field can take admission to this course at JNU. Students are required to have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject to get admission to the MCA course.
• MBA: Students in the general category must have earned a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks, and students in the reserved category (SC/ST/PWD) must have earned 45% marks. There is a fee of Rs. 2000 for the general category and Rs. 1000 for the reserved category.
• MA: To take admission to the master of Arts programme at JNU, the candidate has to complete a BA course or equivalent with at least a 50% score.
• MSc: The Master of Science course is provided based on the entrance or merit score. To be eligible for the MSc degree admission students have to complete a bachelor’s degree course with at least 50% percent marks.

JNU PhD Admission 2026 

NTA will open the registration portal for the JNU PhD entrance exam for the session 2026. The National Test Agency has released the full schedule for the entrance examination on their web portal. Applicants who are waiting for PhD admission to Jawahar Lal Nehru University can enroll NTA PhD entrance exam. Viva voce, and several merit lists significantly impact doctoral degree admission. 

JRF-qualified candidates will not be required to take computer-based tests (CBTs). Candidates who qualify for the JRF must submit a separate application. In the event that a student is shortlisted for a viva-voce, they will be contacted as soon as possible.

JNU MBA Admission 2026

Jawaharlal Nehru University has started the MBA Program for Students who wish to join management studies for the new session. The deadline to submit the online application form is 15 May 2026 for JNU MBA admission 2026 at the official portal. The Program is introduced by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship Management Education, which is a new school centre of JNU. Master’s in Business Administration is a full-time two-year post-graduation program.

Eligibility Criteria: To apply, students should complete their Bachelor’s degree in any relevant program; the general category students should obtain at least 50% marks, and the SC/ST/PWD category students should obtain 45% marks in their Bachelor’s degree. 

Common Entrance Test:- Entrance Test CAT should be cleared for admissions. Students’ merit scores and Entrance scores will be evaluated together, and accordingly, students will be called for admission. 

The Registration Fees:- The Application fees for the General and Open Category are 2000/- and for the reserved category is 1000/-. 

Fee Structure for Indian Students: There is a division in the fee category-wise, where    

• The General category students are required to pay a fee of 12 Lakhs.
• The OBC category students are required to pay 8 Lakhs.
• The SC/ST/DA category needs to pay 6 Lakhs. 

Fee Structure for Foreign Students: The fee for foreign students who want to enrol in the JNU MBA program is required to pay INR 32000/-, which is about INR 8000 per semester. For the SAARC National students, the fee is INR 5000/- per semester.

Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE)

Jawaharlal National University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) is conducted annually for admissions to different degree programs. It will be organised in online mode and is going to be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) this year for JNU Admission. The National Testing Agency or NTA will conduct this test on a national scale. JNU Entrance Exam Pattern 2026: JNUEE is taken for courses such as BA (Hons.), MBA, MCA, M-Tech, MSc (Biotechnology), and doctoral programs.
